Wimpy Off-Road bike ride
Snoqualmie Valley Trail, North Bend to Rattlesnake Lake
Description: This is an easy ride on a former railroad, now called the Snoqualmie Valley Trail.
Starting in North Bend, our ride begins a barely perceptible grade past rows of blackberry bushes. Passing beneath Interstate 90 and then a short bridge over the rushing South Fork Snoqualmie River, the path begins its winding, 450-foot climb to Rattlesnake Lake. The ride is almost all in trees. We’ll stop at Rattlesnake Lake to rest and enjoy the view.
Mountain bikes and cross-bikes are okay, but skinny-tired road bikes are not recommended.
Cancel if raining, sprinkles we go.
Refreshments afterwards at a local watering hole.
